In Turkish Basketball league we have one really interesting tip this evening. Fenerbahce is the host to Anadolou Efes in GAME 3 of the finals series. I hope this time we are on the winning side as last time Efes did could not buy a bucket whole game long and managed to lose by almost 30 point.

First half of second game looked like we will have more of the same, but than Vasilije Micic stepped up with a game of the season. He played like in trans, outplaying the best point guard in Europe, Kostas Slokuas by far. It is not that every day we see someone “killing” Sloukas in attack as Kostas is known as one of premier defenders on his position in whole Europe, a real game-changer on that side of the field.
Efes showed a lot of Guts to go on an take this one in overtime. They hit some shots and in the end, showed more. I really think in this moment Efes is a better team.

If Vesely and Datome were here, this would be a one sided match, but be realistic, if Fener does not hit high percentage of their shots, who is going to step up. Ali is playing bad, he hits some shots, but in General, he plays pretty damn bad. Melli is a gamechanger, his shot is terrific, but he is not a creator. Eric Green in my opinion gets too little touches, he is a beast and he should get more freedom.
Generally, I think this line is just too damn much. We are speaking about two teams that are very similar, with Efes being on top when it comes to offense.

First match does not show us anything, Efes could not buy a bucket even if their lives depended on that. They played like old, pre Ataman Efes, no “balls”, they were just afraid to take what was offered.

This season they played two times in this arena and both times showed that they can ball with Fener. I see something similar today.

For me, there is no doubt. Efes I just too good to pass up this opportunity.
