We picked the game between Lithuania and Canada for our comeback tip.
Before this competition, Canada was regarded as one of the favorites but then some strange thing happened. Canada is here with a roster that features only Khem Birch and Cory Joseph (who did not do preparation with the team). Barnett, Wiggins, Murray, Thompson and many others canceled their invitation to the National Team leaving Canada with their “C” roster

Lithuania is here with the best possible team. They have their system, they have a rock hard defense and two really good big man in the post that make life easier. It is a pity that Kalnietis in not here, he has a proven track record of over-performing in NT jersey and with him the would be pretty deeper.
Even without him, they are too much for this Canadian team. Canada showed in the match with Australia that they are capable of playing good defense during some stretches of the match, but generally, the have problems scoring against “smart defenses”.
Joseph is a good player, but not a superstar, even on FIBA level. He can not carry this team alone in offense and he does not have real help. Brady Heslip could solve some offensive problems, but he is a -2 on defensive end and he would be heavily exploited every time down.
Lithuania is a better team, they know each other and they could do great things in this tournament, counting in their real strength and combination of youth and experience.
Lithuania -7.5 is the way to go today.
